Best time to see the Northern Lights
The Northern Lights season in Lapland lasts from September to March. The best months are October, February and March, when the nights are dark enough and the weather is often clear.

Tips
Check the Aurora probability before you go — Likely is enough in Lapland - Pack warmly: -20°C is not uncommon - A camera on a tripod and a long exposure time give the best photos - Book a Northern Lights safari with a local company — they know the best spots, or venture beyond the city lights.
