Activities in Iso-Syöte!

Iso-Syöte is Finland's southernmost fell and one of the country's most family-friendly ski resorts. Located in the municipality of Pudasjärvi, its specialty is exceptionally reliable snow cover — on average, there is more snow here than at many resorts further north.

The resort has 17 slopes and 9 lifts, designed especially with families and beginner skiers in mind. The children's ski school and kids' world make Iso-Syöte an excellent choice for families. More experienced skiers can find challenges on the off-piste runs.

Syöte National Park surrounds the resort and offers beautiful hiking trails and snowshoeing opportunities in winter. Snow-covered trees, known as "tykkypuut," are Syöte's signature sight and a stunning photography subject. The area also offers husky safaris, snowmobile excursions and Northern Lights tours. The nearest airport is in Oulu, approximately 150 kilometers away, with an easy drive to the resort.
